Wind Engergy

"LTL has done a lot of research on development of wind energy in Sri Lanka and LTL is developing a 10MW wind project. Its construction is in progress and the plant is to be commissioned in 2011. It is located in Puttalum along the North Western coastline of Sri Lanka. This area is one of the best sites for harnessing wind power by the National Reneable Energy Laboratory (NREL) of US in a study conducted in 2005."
